In our proactive approach to ensure availability of petroleum products to our customers nationwide, sourcing and the haulage of these products is an important factor in our operations.
Our main source of products are from PPMC and imports. Import and PPMC cargoes are received into our Apapa installation through the Marketers jetty and distributed to approved locations nationwide. We also lift from the 21 NNPC/PPMC depots located across the country.
AP maintains a policy of hiring reliable transporters with road worthy trucks that meet the required Health, Safety and Environment {HSE} standards. They are paid freight rates monthly after satisfactory delivery of products. This rate is determined by the location or the distance covered by the trucks.
These trucks are screened daily by our team of Health, Safety and Environment personnel to ensure that the required HSE standards are met before they are allowed into the installation for loading.
