AP Properties Limited was born out of a resolve to diversify and a deliberate effort to increase profitability through the deregulated and high profit yielding real estate sector of Nigeria.
As a fully incorporated company, AP Properties Limited will fully utilize its expertise in real estate to improve the company’s potentials for profitability through the development and management of choice residential and commercial properties and offering services, which will include Property Management Services, Property Brokerages, Real Estate Consulting Services, covering new construction, re-designs, refurbishment, maintenance, development of private fuel storage facilities, development of fuel retailing facilities.
AP’s stint in the property business started with the creation of a Real Estate department which was charged with realising more value from the company's under-utilised property holdings through preofessional management, improving the aesthetics and functionality of our over 500 retail outlets through more creative and customer-friendly designs and foraying into commercial property development.
The department also refurbished some of AP’s properties like Clifford House at James George Street, Ikoyi, AP House, which houses AP’s corporate head office on broad street Lagos, and developed the AP PLAZA, Abuja, a seven story office block located in the heart of the city and the AP Commercial Complex in Abuja which houses the Nicon Hilton Hotel Service Station.

African Petroleum Oilfield Services Limited (APOS), is a fully owned subsidiary of African Petroleum Plc incorporated in August, 2003 with a vision to grow and become a leading indigenous oil service company providing high quality services rendered through technical partnerships with credible international companies. APOS operations will be supported by effective and efficient local resources and technical expertise.
Presently APOS is actively involved in the business of supply of production chemicals and within a short period of incorporation is already transacting businesses with major and indigenous oil companies in Nigeria namely Total, ExxonMobil, Saipem, Addax, MI Nigeria, Moni Pulo, Sheba Exploration etc.

TECHNICAL PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT
In order to achieve our goals of providing high quality services in the area of supply of production chemicals and specialty products, AP Oilfield Services Limited established a sustainable technical partnership/Sole Distributorship agreement with M-I Production Chemicals (MIPC) for supply of production chemicals in Nigeria and Sao Tome and Principe.
MIPC is a subsidiary of M-I LLC, a division of Smith-Schlumberger, a company that is a world leader in the oil industry for the last 20 years providing high quality chemicals and support services.
According to the technical agreement with MIPC, M-I PC would train the local skills to international standards with development of local specialty products and blending facilities. Local sourcing of the raw materials and solvents would tremendously develop the Nigerian Chemical industry.
OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.
African Petroleum Oilfield Services has a well stocked warehouse located at Trans Amadi, Port-Harcourt, with full range M-I PC products covering the following applications, -demulsifiers, wax inhibitors, scale inhibitors, oxygen scavengers, sludge breakers, water clarifiers, biocides, pour point depressants, corrosion inhibitors, commodity products, etc.
AP Oilfield Services Limited also has a modern and fully equipped production chemical laboratory located at our Trans Amadi office in Port-Harcourt. This facility enables us to render quality production chemical laboratory services to major oil and services companies as well as support our production chemical operations in Nigeria.
BOARD & MANAGEMENT
The Board has Mr. Abdullahi Sule (the Managing Director of AP plc) as Chairman while the Managing Director is Mr. Pedro Adigwe, alongside four other Directors. Our business strategy is anchored on our very loyal and dedicated employees. APOS is managed by a team of highly experienced, dynamic and resourceful young professionals from a variety of backgrounds.

It is mandatory for all our employees to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided for their use by the company. We have well laid out processes and procedures for prompt reporting of Unsafe Acts, Near-misses and Accident/Incident reporting and Investigation.

IMB INTERNATIONAL BANK PLC
IMB International Bank Plc, started operations in 1974 as First National Bank of Chicago, at that time, a primary regional wholesale and money center bank in the USA.
In pursuance of its indeginization programme, the Federal Government of Nigeria, in September 1976, acquired 60% of the banks shares; which led to subsequent change of the banks name to International Merchant Bank of Nigeria Limited.
In 1991, the remaining 40% was divested and in 1992, IMB became fully privatized and a Public Limited Company {PLC} quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
To ensure a solid capital base for the bank, IMB was recapitalized in February 2004; African Petroleum Plc, took up a total of 3,530,125,800 shares of the bank. This represents a 45% of the total share capital of the bank. Thus AP is the single highest shareholder of the bank.
This step would provide array of business to the bank and as well as impact positively on AP’s business and returns on shareholders investments.
