AP Plc recently received the Nigerian Industrial Standard and Mandatory Assessment Conformity Programme Certificates, NIS-MANCAP. During the presentation, the DG of Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Mr. John Akaya who was represented by the Head of Lagos Zone 1, Mr. Agboola Afolayan said the presentation of the award to the company proves that it has absorbed the SON standard principles. He said ‘we are proud to say that AP has met the standard and has been certified excellent in all its products that were examined in our laboratory.’

In his response, the COO, AP Plc, Mr. Tunde Falasinnu said the certificate is in recognition of the company’s best way of conforming to SON standard and its way of doing things better. Mr. Falasinnu further said that: "Our certification is not only on the quality and standards but also on the world-class equipment procured by the management. The certificate has broadened the market acceptability of our products

Mr. Mike Ahme, GM Specialities AP also assured SON that the company will always present quality products to its teeming customers.

Production/Plant Manager of AP Plc, Mr. Obed Ekeocha, who is also the  ISO Management representatives  disclosed that the company's journey to re-certification began in 2007, after SON came up with a directive that for products to be in the market.
