Corporate Social Resposibility

For over three decades African Petroleum Plc, as a corporate socially responsible and responsive citizen has been a front liner in appreciating the fact that the society empowers it with a number of rights and responsibilities.

AP demonstrates an unflinching belief in the Nigerian Society by supporting various causes, projects and programmes in the society. The company makes annual donations to charity organizations and homes, especially in the area Special Needs, to organizations and foundations that cater for Children with hormonal disorders, Down’s Syndrome, Autisms, blind etc in our Society.

AP endeavors to plough back in all areas to the society and is a strong sponsor of sporting events like the Ladies golf tournaments, Badminton, which the company was the sole sponsor in Nigeria for almost two decades.

We also belong to organizations that protect our environs like the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) and the Lagos Millennium Group on the Environment (LIMGE).
